The House Of Mending

Hi I am Michelle. Daughter of the King. Friend of the Holy Spirit. Wife to Andrew and Mom to ten. One biological child and Nine adopted but all equally HIS lent to me for as long as He sees fit. Our family has grown because of brave mothers in Ethiopia, China, the Philippines, Bulgaria and here in the United States-women that I will forever be grateful to. We use American Sign Language as our first language at home. We celebrate the Deafness in seven of our children. We celebrate the gift of Down Syndrome in one of our daughters and the uniqueness of one daughter that no doctor can quite “diagnose.” We celebrate the tender heart of our one biological daughter who has loved like Jesus loves as our family has grown. 

Im a woman on a mission to share how God mends hearts. Im a woman who has faced brutal Marital betrayal and in the face of that adversity has re-realized the gift of the Holy Spirit as my closest friend- How Jesus gave me that greatest friendship because of His great love for me!  I have walked journeys of severe debilitating anxiety, an angry eating disorder, and have warred against adoption trauma in my children. We all have woundings of some kind. We all need mending. The Holy Spirit is waiting to be invited to war with us- on our behalf- when we can’t walk another step or pray another prayer. Somehow someway we can utter a hallelujah and praise through every wounding. It is in that warfare of praise that we are healed, restored and we find the untapped power within us.
